 Background These two shows will join forces in building the largest broadcast networking and telecommunications event in South China. The Radio, Film & Television Bureau of Guangdong Province initiated Guang Dong International Broadcast, TV & Network Equipment Exhibition (GDBN) in the early 1990's and has successfully made it the most influential broadcast and media technology event in South China. Including the 2004 GDBN, each broadcast event, on average, has attracted over 100 exhibitors, with over 5,000 square meters of available exhibit space. Since 1995, E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc. has organized EXPO COMM China South, the largest biennial telecommunications show of its kind. In recent years this event has attracted over 200 exhibitors, with over 10,000 square meters of available exhibit space. Following the trend toward the integration of broadcast networking and telecommunications networking, as well as multimedia communications, these two organizers have decided to combine their resources and years of experience into Broadcast Networking & EXPO COMM CHINA SOUTH 2006. Market Southern China, consisting of Guangdong, Hong Kong, Fujian, Guangxi and other coastal areas remains the most prosperous market for telecommunications and broadcast sectors. It is one of the few areas in China which requires the most advanced broadcast and telecommunications services.
